Jackie was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney disease in 2020. Much of her health journey was due to her experience as a Black woman dealing with health inequity in America. CBHN's mission is to ensure all Black Californians have access to high-quality and equitable primary and behavioral healthcare to avoid unnecessarily succumbing to disease.
