Jacqueline's obituary

After a difficult battle with breast cancer, Jackie Marlin passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 20th, 2021.

Born in Saginaw, Michigan to Jack and Betty Marlin, Jackie was described as a "wild child" with a heart that went on for miles. Jackie was passionate about family, especially her two daughters, RaeLea and Avery. Jackie went to school in St. Charles, Michigan where she grew up. She participated in cheerleading all through high school, as well as dance at Bohatys for many years.

Jackie was a fiercely dedicated and loving mother, raising two equally strong and loving daughters. RaeLea and Avery share so many of the same qualities that Jackie had, that she instilled in them since birth. Jackie's free spirit and electricity, her brighten the room smile, and anyone that knew her would remember that laugh, so distinct when she was in a room, will be just a handful of the memories that will be held so dear.

Jackie's love of music, "chic flicks", making people feel beautiful through her occupation as a hairdresser, the love she had for her daughters, and her heart of gold were some of her greatest traits. She would be a shoulder to cry on, always there for a hug or to hold your hand, and so genuine that she would give you the shirt off your back if you needed it.

Jackie was predeceased in death by both of her parents, Betty Marlin and Jack Marlin. She leaves behind her two daughters RaeLea and Avery Gross, her sister Karlie (Marlin) Price, her niece Taylor Schluckebier, her God son Logan Dean, her aunts Virg Maier, RuthAnn Hahn, and Glennie Sargent, her wonderful friends Tina McKillop and Shannon and Jeff Bradshaw, her stepmom Gail Marlin and countless friends and family members that have had such a huge place in her heart. Cremation has taken place through McGeehan Funeral Home. A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held at the Brant Township Hall on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at 1:00pm.
