Jacqueline's obituary
Jacqueline "Jackie" Knight, a charismatic and empathetic soul known for her strong will, was born on October 25, 1995, and passed away on January 28, 2025. She is survived by her mother, Teresa Knight and sister, Jennifer Kasapi and family among many countless aunts, uncles, and relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Brooks Knight, and brother, James "Jimmy" Knight.
Jacqueline's personality was truly singular; she was often described as a 'canary in a coal mine', someone who felt things intuitively and ardently. Her empathy was vast, always being quick to lend a helping hand to those in need. She was a beacon of strength and resilience, always standing tall in the face of adversity.
Her greatest accomplishments reveal the depth of her determination. Despite many doubting her pursuits, Jacqueline graduated from Texas State with a degree in acting and bravely moved to Chicago to pursue her passion in the theatre and film industry. Her courage and conviction in the face of skepticism stand as a testament to her indomitable spirit.
Yet Jacqueline's legacy extends beyond her professional achievements. She will be remembered for her innate resilience and unyielding willingness to rise after setbacks. Her acts of kindness stretched to all living beings, particularly animals. She held a special love for pit bulls, with her most recent one, Khaza, being the love of her life.
We invite all who knew and loved Jacqueline to join us in celebrating her life. The service will be held on May 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cypress Creek Church in Wimberly, TX. May we always remember her vitality, her compassionate heart, and her unwavering courage.
