Jackie's obituary
JACQUELINE ANGELA GONZALEZ (JACKIE), 77, of Wittmann, Arizona, passed away on March 15, 2025. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, Grammy, and friend.
Born on March 18, 1947, to John and Dorothy Ernest in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jackie was the youngest of six children. She settled in Arizona with her late husband, Robert, in 1981 and spent 12 years working for State Farm Insurance.
Jackie was a wonderful cook, known for her homemade tortillas, “Johnny” sandwiches, potato candy, pudding pie, and spicy noodles. Her grandchildren have fond memories of sleepovers, game days, Saturday thrift store trips, and Sunday breakfasts.
She had a lucky streak and a love for the game—whether spinning the slots, scratching a ticket, or chasing the next big win, she always played with joy and excitement.
A true queen of glamour, Jackie never left home without flawless nails, flashy makeup, and enough sparkle to light up a room. With a wardrobe as bold as her personality, she proved that more was always better when it came to fashion and flair.
Above all, Jackie treasured time with her family and brought joy to those around her. She was a shining light and a force to be reckoned with in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and her two cherished cats.
A celebration of life will be held this summer.

A FALLEN LIMB
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely, the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we’re together again.”
