It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of JaCorri "Corri" DeWayne Crittendon II, also affectionately known as Corri, but preferred JaCorri. Born on October 6, 2007, he brought joy, laughter, and a unique sparkle into our lives. Unfortunately, he left us too soon on March 20, 2024.

JaCorri is lovingly remembered by his Mother, Frances E. Crittendon, and his Father, Kevin D. Crittendon. His light will continue to shine through his Sister, Brianna D. Crittendon. A special warmth guides his Grandmothers, Maxine M. Horne and (Gigi) M. Taylor Gingiss, his Grandfathers, Steve S. Gingiss, Howard E. Crittendon and Jerry L. Horne, and his Aunts, Abby T. Gingiss and Gabrielle A. Gingiss, Great Aunts (Mimi) Natalie Kap, & Sheila Crittendon. He was predeceased by his Uncles, Malcolm E. Crittendon and Robert L. Ford.

JaCorri was a person of diverse interests and robust appetite. He loved all kinds of food, with Chorizo, Eggs, Quesadilla, and Nachos being some of his favorites. His preferred beverages included Sprite, Root beer, Cream-Soda, Juice(s), Milk, Smoothies and Tea(s), with a fondness for Black-Chai-Tea & Green-Matcha-Tea.

His love for popular culture reflected in his favorite books and art, which featured Anime and Manga (heavily). He held a special regard for 'Tokyo Ghoul' and 'Ichigo'. His tastes in music were diverse, ranging from Juice World and Nipsey Hustle to NBA YoungBoi, Migos, and Eminem.

His loved TV Shows like 'Stranger Things', 'Black Lightning', 'Snowfall', 'Sandman', and 'Super Heroes'. His favourite movies encompassed a range of Superhero films such as 'Black Panther', 'Suicide Squad', 'Spider-Man', 'Avengers', 'Batman', 'Iron-Man', and 'Super-Man'.

His penchant for games was evident in his fondness for 'Tom Clancy: Ghost Recon', 'Call Of Duty', 'Splinter Cell', 'Elder Ring', 'GTA', 'Uncharted', 'Fortnite', and 'NBA2k-Editions'. He relished observing performances like the Superbowl, and Michael Jackson's music videos.

Though a Homebody, JaCorri enjoyed spending his free time with family and close relatives. His favorite ways to exercise included playing Sports; Football, Basketball on video games, and with close friends. His dream vacation was to relax on a California beach.

He held a deep compassion for animals, supporting the ASPCA, Humane Society, and Animal Shelters. Additionally, he cared deeply about homeless children, championing their causes. His favourite color was a deep, Dark Violet-Purple.

JaCorri was known for his contagious and humorous personality. He believed in the golden rule, "Do unto others as you want done unto you", advocating kindness and empathy. He had a keen interest in collecting Anime characters, particularly those from Dragon Ball Z, showcasing his passion and dedication.

His legacy will always be his great mind and heart, which he wore on his sleeve. As one of the smartest people we know, JaCorri will continue to be a source of inspiration, leaving an indelible mark in our hearts. His absence will be deeply felt, yet his spirit will continue to guide us and light our way.
