I first met Jacob in high school at FoHi he was my bestie. I looked forward every morning I could see him and talk to him. I could not have made it thru high school without him. He was everything to me. I loved him dearly. We would ditch school sit at the park and talk for what seemed forever. As adults he helped me out so much by always being there for me and my kids before leaving to Colorado. I will love you forever and for always Jake, my heart is in pieces and I look forward to one day seeing you again. My condolences go out to all those he touched thru out life his family, his kids his beautiful girl. My prayers are with you.
I’m so sorry I can’t attend his memorial service. I’m scheduled to work all day that day. I will continue to pray for Jacob’s family and friends in the days ahead, for comfort, for peace, and sweet memories always.

I love you around the rings of Saturn, to the depths of Pluto and back. Jacob supported everyone's hustle, especially mine. Even keeping kiddos when I took my CCMA exam and helping me pass Spanish class

Jacob loved being a Dad and doing all the dad things. From shopping with the girls, to Nerf wars, to life lessons and bedtime Bible stories. He helped me break Amelia from a pacifier, and fought for me when I felt like I couldn't fight for myself. The impact he made on all of our hearts was massive and genuine.

It seems that we always ran across each other in the elevator at the Simms office. He always had time to talk, joke and laugh and was always kind and polite. One thing fore sure, he always had the Lord on his mind in all he did.
I will miss him!

When I think of some of my childhood memories, it includes friends we made at church. We had the opportunity to have fun, engage, support each other all while we were going through different stages of life. Jacob, you left an impact on many peoples lives, and I know you were very well aware of that. Until we see each other again, because the mimosas you Martha and I were supposed to have are still pending. Big hugs to all who knew him.

I was recently going through old pictures from our years at our home church on Rosena and the Vallejos were in many of them. Fuerte abrazo a todos. 🤍

Jake was the first mentor I've had other than my own father who passed a few years ago. He was the first boss to REALLY believe in me. I have no words and I know you must be so tired. So just know that I love him, he is with our Father in Heaven and I will be praying for all of you. If he loved you, then I love you too.
I met the Vallejos at church when Rev Vallejo led the Primera Iglesia Bautista in Fontana, CA.  I made friends with Liz and Jacob and often spent Sundays, or had sleepovers, and play time at my house when our parents gathered.  My entire childhood church life included Jacob in my memories.  Whether we played house,  King and Queen, or ran around the yard exploring making everything a game, he was the best bud.  Whereas the other boys my age picked on me and my siblings- he was never like them.  He was always a friend.  My condolences to his wife, kids, and especially to the Vallejo family whom hold a very special place in my heart.  Rest in love Jacob.

Jacob told me he knew on our first real date that I was his wife. It took me a little longer to realize he was right. I couldn't imagine spending a day without him let alone the rest of my life.
