With profound sadness we announce the passing of Jacob Morrow, a devoted father, a loving son, and an admirable brother. Born on June 20, 1973, Jacob left us too soon on September 21, 2023, leaving behind precious memories and an enduring legacy.

Jacob was a charismatic and hardworking man, with an infectious sense of humor that never failed to bring light to those around him. He was a fantastic storyteller, weaving tales about the history behind the antique items he found and the barns he worked on. He was a believer, filled with faith and convictions that he shared generously with others. More than anything, Jacob was loving. His love poured out in every interaction, every story, and every piece of work he left behind.

Among his proudest accomplishments were his devoted son, Jacob Hurston Morrow Jr., and his remarkable talent for working with his hands. His crafts were more than just things; they were tangible expressions of his love, dedication, and the history he so admired.

Jacob's radiant personality and abundant love have left an indelible mark on those privileged to have known him, remembered fondly by his his son, Jacob Morrow, his partner Samantha Cunningham, mother, Caroline Holland; and his father, Melton Morrow, sisters Caroline and Stella Morrow; and his brother Marshall Holland. Even in his absence, his legacy of hope, inspiration, and love for life endures. That will be his lasting legacy and the greatest lesson he left for all of us.

In lieu of flowers, a fund named "Jacob’s Funeral Expenses" is being raised in his memory. While Jacob’s physical presence will be profoundly missed, his spirit lives on in the stories he told, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave.

Though he is no longer with us in this mortal life, his spirit, his teachings, and the echoes of his laughter will forever resonate in our hearts. His legacy is not just in what he did, but also in how he impacted every life he touched. Rest in peace, Jacob. You will never be forgotten.
