Jacob's obituary
September 26, 1976 – October 12, 2025
Jacob Dean McCraw, 49, of Kuna, Idaho, passed away on October 12, 2025. Born on September 26, 1976, in Kellogg, Idaho, Jake was a devoted husband, father, papa, son, brother, and friend.
A skilled craftsman with an unmatched work ethic, Jake spent over 25 years in the fabrication industry. He was most recently the Head of Operations for Yankes tank division, where he earned deep respect for his leadership, dedication, and problem-solving skills. If something was broken, Jake could fix it—there was truly nothing he couldn’t figure out.
Jake’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a proud and loving husband to Tami Ames McCraw and a devoted father to Kenzie (Hunter)Drummonds, Kendal McCraw, and Karter (Payton) McCraw. He especially cherished his role as “Papa” to his grandchildren Bentley, Boston, Bowie, and Briggs Jacob Drummonds. He rarely missed a game or event, always cheering them on with pride.
Whether he was working on his cherished ’76 Ford or simply spending time with his grandkids, Jake made every moment count. He was a man of strength, laughter, and dedication. The hardest working man you’d know, his hands built a legacy that will live on in the lives he touched.
Jake is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, parents Jim and Sandie McCraw, and siblings Trisha McCraw and Danny (Stacie) McCraw.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
