Jacob Thomas Brown, 16, of Perry Township passed away on October 16, 2022. He was born on August 30, 2006 to Megan (O’Malley) Brown and James R. Brown III. Jacob attended school at Central Catholic High School where he was involved in many extracurricular activities. He was a beloved member of the Central Catholic Crusaders swim team, soccer team and lacrosse team. When he wasn’t on the field or in the pool, he spent his time doing photography and enjoying other relaxing activities. His favorite ways to unwind were to go camping and fishing. Jacob also loved to play board games and spend time with his brother James and his pets Charlie, Brooklyn and Barney. Jacob was loved by many, he had a host of friends and family who will continue to share his memory forever.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents George O’Malley and Linda O’Malley.

In addition to his loving parents Megan and James R. Brown III, Jacob is survived by his brother James R. Brown IV; Grandparents Cindy and James R. Brown Jr.; Aunts, Cindy Desalvio, Patty (Pete) Borland, Kelly (Robb) Romanini, Michelle (Chris) DeBlasis, Tracey Brown and Kathleen (Bill) O’Malley; Uncle, Mikey O’Malley; Great-Aunt, Sally Brown; and a large number of loving cousins, Derek, Sarah, Shaun (Jess), Colleen, Bailey, Evan, Jeremiah (Jess), Nick, Theresa, Ashley, Christopher, Caitlin, Gabe, Kaitlyn, and Kylie.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Canton on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11:00am. Inturment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
