Jackson's obituary

As many of you know, Jackson had been fighting a new version of Covid for a few months. He fought it hard every day and even after being put on a ventilator, he showed fight and resilience. He beat it, he surpassed immense odds and everything that he came against he beat. Unfortunately, his fight was cut short during a routine operation to replace his failed kidney and his body just couldn’t fight anymore. This is the saddest time in my entire life. It was only a few months ago that we went through this very thing with my father and the similarities of the path were scary. A parent never imagines having to outlive their child. But alas, Jackson would never want people to sit and turn negative in times such as this. It was always the dark times that Jackson shined his brightest. He was an extremely tough person and it was so rare to not see that amazing smile on his face. Jackson did his best every day to help people. He was such a positive influence on others. He would always help family/friends and even strangers through their hardships that they would be struggling with. He did this all without it even effecting his own well-being. Jackson’s amazing heart has touched many others and we know it will continue to do so! His positivity and love will be felt forever in all our hearts! We all love you Jackson and we will see you again one day!

Jackson is survived by his dad Jeremy, his mom Kristen, his brother Justin, and his girlfriend Josie. There will be a memorial service for a celebration of life of Jackson on Saturday, December 11th at 10am CST at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel located at 11200 Metcalf Ave in Overland Park. Afterwards there will be a private gathering at the family home in Leewood.
