Jackson's obituary
Jackson Edward Caldwell, 24, of Ridgeland, SC, passed away peacefully on March 14th, 2024.
Jackson was born on December 30th to Kristine Serota-Caldwell in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jackson was almost a New Year’s baby leading into the year 2000. He was also born a mere 11 months after his brother, Malcolm which not only blessed him with an instant best friend, but also made them Irish Twins. Jackson was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend.
Throughout Jackson’s life, he also lived in Illinois, Arizona, and South Carolina. Jackson grew up along side his very close knit family; to include his wonderful and loving mom and dad, his older sister, older brother, his Nana and Grampi and his Auntie and two cousins. After graduating from Liberty Highschool in 2017 in Arizona, Jackson moved to his final destination in South Carolina with his family.
Jackson thoroughly enjoyed movies and video games. His favorite movies were Marvel and Anime and would get so excited when his parents took him to the Cinemark to see the newest Marvel movies. He also became quite the collector of gaming consoles and you would often see him playing anywhere he could and donning his giant headphones.
Jackson enjoyed attending church, joining in fellowship with his Bible study and handing out candy that usually included Jolly Ranchers and chocolates. Jackson loved dogs almost as much as they loved him. Growing up, there were always multiple dogs around who would naturally gravitate towards him because they sensed his gentleness.
Jackson’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say but they take comfort in knowing he is free of pain and by God’s grace, no longer suffering as he has joined his best friend, his brother, Malcolm and beloved Nana in heaven.
Jackson is survived by his parents, Kristine Serota-Caldwell & William Fuentes. His sister, Kristiana and brother-in-law, Michael. His grandfather, Barry. His aunt, Joi and cousins, Elisibeth and Ericka. Nephews, Blake and Greyson; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
