My wife and I were immediately attracted to Jackie and Sam the day they joined our support group. Jane and I looked forward to the many outings, dinners, musical performances and movies, we shared with Jackie and Sam. Wonderful memories.
I met Jackie when our boys played Little League for Tania’s Pizza.  I think my husband and I looked forward to seeing Jackie and Sam as much as watching our sons.  We maintained a friendship long after baseball was over.  Jackie was warm and intelligent, always with a well debated opinion on any subject.  We lost touch over the years…I’m so sorry for your loss Sam.  Try to take comfort in your wonderful memories.  Lynn Walters

I remember Jackie with fondness for her generosity of spirit.  She and Sam were a special couple and beautiful friends to my parents, my sisters, and myself.

Sam, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
During these last few days, knowing that Jackie's life was coming to an end, I thought about her often. The one memory that kept returning was Jackie's "Hi Jan!" that I heard hundreds of times when walking into her house.  "Goodbye, Jackie!" I will miss you.
My thoughts are with the entire McKnight and Moore family.  My favorite memories of Jackie are from walking my son and her grandsons to elementary school together. She always smiled and was loved being with her family. Jackie was a very special person and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Jackie was beautiful in every way. Her heart , her mind and her beautiful face. Will miss her very much. Marie K

My heartfelt sympathy is with Jackie’s dear family. I truly enjoyed our many BookClub evenings together! I regret that I will not be able to join you Saturday.

May Peace be with you.

From my facebook post, if you are not in that space:  My mom’s flame has been extinguished. During this decade of living with Alzheimer’s Disease, her flame faded & flickered gradually (and not always gracefully), and now she is gone. I miss her terribly. She is my guiding light for being a mother; more than once a day I think “how would jackie handle this?” She was the absolute best shopping partner & car-ride companion. She cooked family dinners with heaps of love, gave the most thoughtful gifts, had gorgeous handwriting, and sought out ways to make a positive difference in her community. She was my biggest cheerleader. She was loyal, nurturing, altruistic, organized, optimistic, adventurous, sassy & fun. And she bravely lived fully in her dementia, enabled and cared for so lovingly by my dad and supported by friends & family, and the dedicated caregivers at the Dorothy & Peter Brown Jewish Community Adult Day Program and St. Anne's Mead Assisted Living Memory Care Nursing Care. 💔 For memorial service & luncheon info (8/26) see https://everloved.com/life-of… (obit forthcoming) 💔

Beautiful Jackie inside and out. Jane loved you.
The world has lost a wonderful person. I am so grateful to have stood in her light.
My deepest condolences to Sam and family over Jackie’s passing. This was no ordinary life, as her life was well-lived and well-loved, and certainly will be a life that will be deeply missed. I will miss the good times with Jackie, the smiles and laughter, and I will hold on to those memories of her forever.
