Background
If you would like to make a donation in Jackie's memory, Jackie's family has chosen three charities that promote causes dear to Jackie:
- The Royal Oak Optimist Club: Jackie and Sam lived in Royal Oak for over 40 years, were always active in the community, and enjoyed being members of the Royal Oak Optimist Club for several years. The mission of the Royal Oak Optimist Club is to bring out the best in kids by providing hope and a positive vision.
- The Dorothy and Peter Brown Adult Day Program: For several years, Jackie participated in the day program designed for people (Jewish and non-Jewish) living with dementia and their family care partners, providing great support to Jackie and Sam.
- The North Country Trail Association. This organization works to maintain and promote the North Country National Scenic Trail, which passes near to Jackie and Sam's beloved home in the Upper Peninsula. Contribute to Royal Oak Optomist Club
