Obituary
Jack Marion Fannon, age 80, died in his home on July 12, 2022. Jack was sixth generation born in Watauga county, a descendant of Benjamin Ward Sr., as well as one of two beloved sons of Ewing deWitt Fannon and Ivalee Susan Ward Fannon.
As a graduate of Cranberry High School, Appalachian State Teachers College, and the University of Montana, he was a lifelong administrator and educator both in and out of the classrooms.
