Jack's obituary
Jack was born to Roy David, “Hub” Conley, and Carol Ruth {Hiles} on March 5, 1929, in the Long Run area, of Braxton County. Jack was retired from the General Moors corporation, where he worked , on the manufacturing line, providing automobiles for the nation, he fought to protect during the Korean War, while proudly serving in the Army.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Jack also loved spending time with his grandchildren, Rita Ledbetter, Chrissy Ledbetter, Lisa Sprouse, Barry, Brittany, Logan and Paxton Conley, April Conley Minor, Julian, Jaden, and Camron Fleshman, great grand children, Christopher Ledbetter, Summer Sprouse, Zoe and Brooklyn Minor, Levici and Anderson Conley, Hudson Lantz, Maris Jade Conley, Kenadi Lance, with whom he shared his love of the outdoors, and farming, tending to the animals of the farm, and loving the simple life. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.
Jack joins his Mother and Father, his wife, and his beloved brothers and sisters in Heaven. He is survived by his sons, Barry and wife Kara (Crites) Conley, of Burnsville West Virginia, and Robby Conley, and his girlfriend Judy Leggett, of Glenville. Daughter Dottie Ash, and Bill, of Bristol West Virginia. Jackie Conley Fleshman, of Barborsville, West Virginia. Sister “ink” Singleton of West Milford, Pennsylvania.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 29,2020 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV, 26621 from 11-1 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating, Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery In Sand Fork, WV.
