Pop ....You had such a big heart and genuinely would give the shirt off your back to any one in need. You were a fighter for all the right things in life and our lives are all richer for having shared special moments and memories with you. I am fortunate to have known you and grateful for all the values you instilled in Chris. I know I have you to thank for his ability to see the best in people and life, smooth Twist moves, and a lot of one liners - oh, good looks too! We are going to miss your jokes, your laugh and smile, hearing all the plans you had for your lottery winnings, and all the conversations over hot cups of coffee. I wish we had more time. We miss and love you Pop
Jack was a true treasure for all. My favorite memories is all the holidays spent as a big happy family. For years I thought Nancy made the cornbread dressing but it was Jack. I was amazed at that. [The best ever] When no one was looking he would pop his teeth out at me. I would go nuts people would look at me like I was crazy. I would look at him and he had that sly grin on his face. Oh "Hungry" Jack you will be missed. I am truly sorry for his passing. I love you all.

Miss you so much Dad. You were a wonderful father, grandfather, and my very best friend. Thank you for the wonderful memories from our morning coffee, to our nighttime snack and everything in between; our days are shook here without you here. Thank you so much for the life time of memories. It is a privilege to call you my dad, my friend and my inspiration as a parent and a person. Love you, forever in my heart!
After Glow
I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done,
I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing
times and bright and
summer days.
I’d like the tears of those who
grieve, to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.
~ Helen Lowrie Marshall
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
Hunter S. Thompson
Uncle Jack, you were such a magnetic man, honest to a fault, true to yourself, never one to keep up appearances, loving, kind, funny, tough-guy, teddy bear, fun-loving, and genuine man. We didn’t get to plan our getaway, but I know that you are going to keep the coffee hot and hold a seat for me. We have all been blessed for the time we were able to share with you. I hope you know the ways you helped shape Sam and how you have helped us set a foundation for our marriage. He still cringes when he talks about that long ride with you and your teeth. When I close my eyes I can still hear your laugh. We will mourn your passing, but celebrate your life even more because you were such a bright light on anyone’s dark day. We love you and we will miss you immensely, just get the party started for us until we meet again.

Uncle Jack, saying you were the Best Uncle is an understatement there are no words to describe how amazing you were, how you touched my life and helped shape the person I am today. I have so many amazing memories with you and Aunt Nan. I will always remember when you used to pick me up from school on your Harley, then we would come home watch old westerns and eat your famous egg salad sandwiches. You will always have a special place in my heart. I love you and miss you more than I can put into words.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leave a memory no one can steal. -Richard Puz
We all are going to miss Uncle Jack. You were the best uncle a little boy could have ever asked for amd I can't believe your gone. I'll always remember and miss you. You will always be close to my heart.
If you are lucky enough to have known him then you know that you met one of the few people in this world of character true greatness not because of his worldly achievements but because of his love of family and Friends made him great not being very large in stature not once did I ever see Uncle Bubba back down from anything he felt was right although I don't ever remember him putting his hands on me or his children if he told you enough was enough you knew he meant it that was respect something this world needs more of I guess I'm one of the luckiest even though he wasn't my dad he could have been 50 years and 7 months my time with him it wasn't enough time with him we will all miss him Uncle Bubba Jack cone AKA Bo gator ..... love you old man your nephew Bryan

Jack was a wonderful brother-in-law, who had a great sense of humor and was a genuinely good hearted person. He always made us feel at home when visiting. Jack will always hold a very special place in our hearts and will be greatly missed.

Jack and Nancy were our wonderful neighbors. You couldn’t never ride past their home early in the morning where Jack would be on the back porch drinking coffee and Always smiling and waving at us when we drove by. If you stopped by and talked for a few minutes he would always either be bragging on Nancy or his children or his grand babies. Or tell us a fishing story. He sure will be miss by so many but he is in a much better place than we are. Nancy, please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers with much love . Ruthie Youmans
