Jace's obituary
Jace Edwin Collins, born on December 20, 1968, in Wichita, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2025, in Tonopah, Nevada. Jace was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burchel and Mattie Hill, and his mother, Judy Hill. He is survived by the love of his life, Jennifer Trenam of Tonopah, Nevada; his sister Misty Wyckoff and her husband Garret; his niece Ryleigh Wyckoff; his aunt Teresa Hill of Waco, Texas and his step-granddaughter Parquer Lee, all of Wichita, Kansas. Jace also leaves behind his two cherished Belgian Malinois, Maya and Max.
Raised in Wichita, Jace’s adventurous spirit led him to explore life beyond the plains. The mountains called to him early on, drawing him to Montana for a time before he eventually settled in Nevada. Though he spent periods living in Las Vegas and returning to Wichita intermittently, Jace found his true home in Tonopah. It was there that he met Jennifer Trenam, with whom he was planning a future filled with love and companionship.
Jace had a deep affection for dogs and was an avid animal lover throughout his life. His bond with Maya and Max reflected the kindness and loyalty that defined him. Jace’s journey through life was marked by a love for exploration and a connection to nature that brought him peace. He will be remembered fondly by those who knew him as someone who followed his heart wherever it led.
A celebration of life may be scheduled in Tonopah at a later date.
May Jace’s memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
