J. Narciso's obituary

J. Narciso Bero Roldan, a vibrant and beloved soul, passed away on November 8th, 2024, after a courageous battle following a severe car accident on November 4th, 2024. It was just 3 months after celebrating his 33rd birthday.

Jay or "Ciso", as he was affectionately known, was a beacon of joy and laughter. His infectious smile and quirky sense of humor brightened the lives of everyone he encountered. Known for his daring spirit and adventurous nature, Ciso was talented at everything he did from art, gymnastics, and skateboarding, to bodybuilding and car wrapping.

Beyond his talents, Ciso was a kind and compassionate individual. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was deeply loved by his family, friends, and co-workers. His untimely passing leaves a void in the hearts of many.

Ciso is survived by many including; Jessie Pena, his partner of nine years, Emilia/Emy Roldan (mother), EJ Roldan (father), Rose and Roger Jimenez (sister and bro-in-love), and their children and grandchildren Angelina and Gilbert Gonzales,  Makayla Jimenez, Liv Gonzales, Nicholas and Zachary Jimenez, Christopher Roldan and Ericka Avalos (brother and sis-in-love), and their children Anthony and Jonathan Avalos, as well as Emma Rose and Jordan Klinger (sister and bro-in-love), Lin Andre Roldan and Isabel Nava (bro and sis-in-love) and their child Nevaeh, Abraham Roldan and Denise Soto (brother and partner), and the extended Roldan, Bero, and Cunado families.

Services to celebrate Ciso's life will be held on the following days/times and locations:

1) Thursday, 12/12/2024: Viewing Service  - Stop by anytime starting from 9am to 8pm to visit the family and Ciso with a viewing of his body before burial. Small bites and beverages will be provided.

Address: The Hope Chapel at Forest Lawn Cypress 4471 Lincoln Avenue Cypress, CA 90630

2) Friday, 12/13/2024: Family Day w/ Open Candlelight Vigil & Bayside Bonfire - Throughout the day, Emy and EJ Roldan will be at the Newport Dunes as they are staying there from 12/12 - 12/15. To take a break from the heaviness of the services, the family welcomes anyone to visit them during the day at the back bay dunes where families can enjoy time on the water, in the heated pool or jacuzzi, or relax on the sand. From 4:00 - 6:30pm, there will be a more formal candlelight vigil and prayer as we prepare our hearts for Ciso's service and burial the next day. Ciso loved bonfires, so we will definitely have one for us to surround and make s'mores. Anyone who would like to bring a dish for dinner for the candlelight vigil, is welcome to, while the Roldan family will also provide some food and beverages otherwise. The candlelight vigil and bayside bonfire are open to friends as well, especially those who have kindly given towards services. Please just RSVP on the "Events" tab, so we know how many people and cars to expect. Please dress warmly as we will be outside alongside the water.

Address: Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina (Pavilion A), 1131 Back Bay Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660

3) Saturday, 12/14/2024: Funeral Service & Burial - Starting at 11:30am, we will have a formal service to memorialize Ciso's life that will also be live-streamed. There will be a break with small bites provided around lunch, followed by an "open mic" style session within the chapel to allow anyone who would like to share a word about Ciso and/or how he touched them to be recorded at the podium. After which, everyone will be led to the burial site by 3:15pm where he will be laid to rest at his final resting place on earth. Although RSVP is not required, it is encouraged to do so on the "Events" tab to help us get a sense of how many people will be at the service in-person. Additionally, the events tab includes an RSVP link to put your name down for the dinner reception following the burial.

Address: The Patriots Chapel at Forest Lawn Cypress 4471 Lincoln Avenue Cypress, CA 90630

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to support Ciso's medical and burial expenses here: https://gofund.me/fed6861f

You can also support Ciso’s legacy brand, All Eights X. His siblings created merchandise for Ciso’s dream brand to continue to raise funding for his mother's long-term expenses related to the accident by supporting: https://docs.google.com/forms…

Any leftover monies will also help to cover legal costs as the family wants justice for Ciso with the hospital, in hopes that Ciso's death will not be in vain, so other families do not experience what they had to. Thank you for praying, giving, and joining us as we memorialize our beloved partner, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
