I was definitely saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Duncan last year, I've been friends of his son Javian and his wife Angela for many years and always enjoyed visiting their family and Mr. Duncan. May God continue to rest his soul and bless his family.
I will always remember my uncle’s smile and how he would keep my dad in line. They were so funny together. Calling each other boy and talking in those deep voices.
As a child I would love to go over Uncle Junior’s house to play with my cousins. They had the coolest stuff.
You will be greatly missed but always loved. Uncle Junior.
I wanted to write and to tell you that I am thinking of you in these difficult days. I know your loved one’s loss seems more than you can bear, but please know that there are many people who stand by willing to help you through this, and I am but one of these. My deepest condolences go out to you and your family. JD will be sorely missed, I still can see his infectious smile and a kind complement. We are praying for you and your family.

JD was such an awesome friend and brother in Christ to Judith and I and we will miss him very much. We want to express our deepest condolence to Jossalyn, Gia, Javian and Jeremy and remind them of Paul words in Corinthians 15:57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
JD was such a great neighbor. Always smiling and stopping to chat with our Family as he passed our house. We are grateful that God placed JD in our lives. He will never be forgotten. Prayers for Jocelyn, the children, and the entire Duncan family.

Gia - our sincere condolences to you and your family during this time. Keeping you, Jay, and the whole family in prayer for comfort and peace. May God continue to give you godly strength; and may you hold on to the great memories and wisdom from your Dad. Love you.
My condolences an prayers are with you an your family JD was a wonderful soul an a great friend we all love 💗 him!!!
We became FAMILY when Javian (my-son-in-love) and Angela my daughter were united in holy matrimony. We became GRANDPARENTS when our beloved grandchildren, Ryan and Nyah, who he adored, were born. I gained a lovely friend in Joss, who along with J.D., were always so welcoming and gracious anytime I visited their home, another sweet daughter in Gia and the youngest, Jeremy, who today has grown into a fine, young man. I love this family, who is my family also, and J.D.'s legacy will live on forever through his family and many, many friends. I Thess.4:13-14.
With Love,
Gia and Jay,
I offer my deepest condolences to you and the family. Your Dad was such a great man and person whose zest for life and family left a mark on me and many others who had the joy of knowing him. May he RIP and enjoy heavenly workouts and golf games in his healed Heavenly body and spirit.
Hugs and Love you 🙏🏽❤️
Gia, my best to you and your family. I’m very sorry to hear of your father’s passing. Warm hug to all who are grieving. 💌

I was deeply saddened to hear Pops Duncan had passed. I knew him by way of his son Javian (and his family) for some years. While I hadn't spoken to him recently I did over the years come to admire and respect him greatly for his Love of God, dedication to family and his zeal for life (last I remembered he even started Mixed Martial Arts :) ). He will surely be missed by those who knew and loved him, may his soul rest safely in the presence of our Lord.
“MY OLDEST BROTHER” (1) a joy and a blessing for me to grow up around (2) he reminded me of our father J.D.Duncan SR. (3) a gadget man (4) a advanced trombonist (5) a soloist (6) a firm handshaker (7) a greeter with “ hay boy “ when we would talk on the phone (8) a great father and husband (9) a great son to mom and dad who will be missed. R.I.P. BIG BROTHER. Your baby brother Joseph Duncan.

My heart goes out to all of the family at this time and especially to those closest to Dad. I am happy to have known him and have witnessed first hand his love and dedication in action.
I shared an office with JD when we worked in the Shuttle Avionics Integration Lab, (SAIL) at NASA and he was such a fine man and co-worker. There were several of us in one office and in the mornings he would scrape the wax off his apples and we would talk about what the day would bring and always talk about our kids. We had some of the biggest laughs in that office and he had the best smile and laugh. He adored his family so very much. He was a kind Christian man, and a brilliant engineer and was so well respected. Prayers to his family. ~Kelly Davis
