Ivory "Minnow / Beaver" Brown Sr , 82, of Port Allen, LA, passed away on May 02, 2022 after a hard and tiring  battle with Cancer.

Ivory was born on the 15 of November to Sadie and Sam Brown in Smithfield  . He landed his first job as picked pecans, picked cotton  for many years to make ends meet where needed , hard working since he was 8 years old . In 1954, he met Mary Lee Harris  , and they wed in 1965, going on to have 7 kids children, Micheal  P Joseph , Desiree Brown, Ivory Brown Jr. , Carla Brown , Jennifer Brown , Katrina Brown , Jeremy Brown . Ivory was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly supported and  tried his best to support them.


Ivory was also a passionate to always go the extra mile to provide for his family and could often be found fishing or outside doing something  when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Ivory knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Ivory was predeceased by Sadie Brown,  Sam Brown , Alcide Brown , Edward Brown, . He is survived by Robert Brown Sr,  Alvin Jones Sr , Deloris Lang ,  Oria White, Desiree Brown, Ivory Brown Jr , Carla Brown , Jennifer Brown, Katrina Brown , Jeremy Brown .
