Ivan Steven Juneby, 69, passed March 14, 2023 in Anchorage Alaska. The family will coordinate a celebration of life later this summer.

Ivan was born January 4, 1954 in Eagle Alaska, to James A. and Dorothy C. Juneby. Upon graduation from Tok Youth Corps, he became a certified electrician and worked in Prudhoe Bay for many years. Throughout his 69 years of life, he lived in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Eagle Alaska. He had a passion for spending time fishing, camping and socializing with friends and family. Ivan was always the first to rise each morning to prepare coffee and breakfast for his guests. He loved sharing stories about his fishing experiences and very much enjoyed making new friends at every fishing hole.

Ivan was well known and respected in the community. Ivans kind ways and generous spirit will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him.

Ivan was survived by his two sisters, Sarah Evans and Emma Juneby, Nieces and nephews, Dorothy Juneby, Audrey Degrote, Arlette Fabian, Alicia Phlegar, and lots of great nieces and nephews, also many more other family members.
