I.B. Browning, Jr., age 65, of Morgantown, WV, died Monday, September 18, 2023, at his home. He was born April 7, 1958, in South Charleston, WV, a son of the late Ivan Bernard Browning and Mary Glenn Bell. On August 15, 2009, he married Rebecca Waggy who survives. Also, he is survived by one daughter, Rachel Browning and his father and mother-in-law, David and Sue Ann Waggy of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Hannah Browning and one brother, David Browning. I.B. was the owner of Microsystems until he sold the business in 2007. After selling his business he and Rebecca sailed the Caribbean for seven years. I.B. was a man of many talents he loved to renovate and could fix or build just about anything. He not only renovated his house but three Airbnb houses which they owned. I.B. was passionate about music and used to play the trumpet with a lot of old-time string musicians. Other passions included mountain biking, Rebecca and he were members of the WVMBA, kayaking, rock climbing, backpacking, skiing and camping. I.B. loved his cats, Lyra and Linus, he helped Rebecca design backpacks that could hold their cats safely and took them on many hiking and biking trips.
