Isaiah's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Isaiah Rhodes-Card. Born on a cold winter day on January 24, 2023, little Isaiah brought an immediate warmth and light into the lives of those around him. A bright beacon of joy and creativity, Isaiah's life, though tragically short, was full of love, laughter, and inspiration. Isaiah departed from our world far too soon on September 30, 2025.

Isaiah, a jovial spirit known for his bubbly, warm, outgoing, and creative personality, was a cherished family member. He leaves behind his doting mother, India Rhodes, his supportive father, Michael Card, his caring sister, Aubrielle Rhodes-Card, and his playful brother, Michael Rhodes. Isaiah loved his family immensely and found great joy in the shared moments, big and small.

Isaiah was a boy of many passions. His love for pizza was unmatched, almost as much as the joy he found in his favorite TV show, Ms. Huston. The Lion King was his favorite movie and his face would light up each time Simba's journey unfolded on the screen. Isaiah was happiest when playing games; peak-a-boo, hide and seek, and tag were his favorites. His laughter was contagious, filling any room with joy and love.

Isaiah's creative soul shone brightest through his favorite recreational activities. Whether he was playing with his siblings or immersed in the world of colors, his creativity knew no bounds. Blue was his favorite color, a reflection of his vibrant spirit and warm personality.

In his brief life, Isaiah taught those around him invaluable life lessons. One that he held dear to his heart was how to give out hugs when someone was sad. He possessed an uncanny ability to sense when someone needed comfort, and he readily gave out hugs that seemed to lessen the weight of the world.

To those who knew him, Isaiah was a source of love and inspiration. His spirit remains a guiding light for us all, reminding us to embrace each day with creativity, love, and an unwavering sense of joy. Today, and every day, we will remember Isaiah Rhodes-Card, a remarkable boy whose warmth and light continue to inspire.
