Our incredible Patriarch/ dad/ grandfather/ great grandfather has passed and is flying with the angels now. I can’t put into words how honorable this man was. His unbreakable will, his pride to have served his country and the love he had for all of his girls, were unmeasurable. He lived a full life in his 96 years and we were all so blessed to have him.

Irvin Carl Tange was born April 20th, 1926 on Twinning Street in Los Angeles and was the youngest of 4 boys, all of whom were born in the same room. He attended Wilson High School and in his senior year, enlisted in the Navy to fight in WW II. He was stationed in Norman, OK which is where he met Elva Orlean “Peggy” Embry and was married on September 8th, 1945. Carl passed away on …
