Irvin Carl Tange was born April 20th, 1926 on Twinning Street in Los Angeles and was the youngest of 4 boys, all of whom were born in the same room. He attended Wilson High School and in his senior year, enlisted in the Navy to fight in WW II. He was stationed in Norman, OK which is where he met Elva Orlean “Peggy” Embry and was married on September 8th, 1945. Carl passed away on December 11th, in Santa Ana, California and is survived by 3 daughters, 4 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren.
