Irma's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irma Hargrove, who left this world on May 25, 2023. Born on November 22, 1940, our mother was a kind-hearted, loving, and family-oriented woman who touched the lives of everyone she met.
Throughout her life, she was deeply rooted in her family, which was always her guiding principle. She was predeceased by her husband, Maylon Hargrove Sr., her sister, Angelita Rodriguez, her brother, Santos Humada, and her grandson, Maylon Hargrove III. She is survived by her sons, Maylon Hargrove, Jeffery Hargrove, Robert Butler, and her grandchild, Crystal Hargrove, cherishing the memories they shared together.
An amazing cook, she loved Mexican food and baked goods. She also enjoyed sipping on coffee while listening to golden oldies or watching her favorite soap operas. Cooking for her was not only a favorite recreational activity but an expression of love and care for those around her.
Our mother's legacy is one of strength and perseverance in the face of life's challenges. She served as a Marine, was a devoted mother and grandmother, and her resilience left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. The invaluable lesson of "Family Comes First" will live on through the lives of the people she loved and cared for.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with memorial services at https://everloved.com/life-of…. Our mom will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her, but her spirit and the lessons she shared will remain in our hearts forever.
