Irma Rosario Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025 at the age of 79 . Irma found the love of her life, Antonio Flores in middle school and they married January 3, 1960. They had four children; Elsa, Carolyn, Oscar Jr. and Christine. Irma worked at Christa Santa Rosa hospital for 40 years and retired as the kitchen Manager in 2006. After retiring, she enjoyed the company of her husband and family. She loved going to Kickapoo to gamble and Sunday flea market trips It was a good day if she got to play dominoes, won on her scratch offs or spent time with those she loved. Everyone enjoyed sitting around the table hearing her life stories. She was filled to the brim with knowledge, she could cook and bake anything. She was fearless, witty & ever the comedian.

He is survived and will be missed by her daughters Cynthia Ann Fernandez, Carolyn Lopez (George) & Christine Mendoza (Michael), grandchildren Jason, Phillip, Celeste, Priscilla, Jennifer, Jeremy, Samantha, Oscar III, Alyssa, Sebastian, Mariah, Andrew, great grandchildren Ruben Andrew, Emma, Ava, Sophie, Ariana, Adam II, Sophia, Danni Jae, Isabella, Jaxon & Charlie. Her brother Gilbert G. Hernandez.

She is preceded in death by her son Oscar Jr., parents Ismael and Paula, siblings Ismael Jr., Arturo, Armandina, Minerva and Hector.
