I.Patricia's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Irma Patricia Crawford (Diggans), lovingly known as Pat or Patti on November 22, 2024. Born on March 27, 1947. Pat lived a life filled with love, service, and boundless compassion.

Pat is survived by her children Ronald Crawford Jr.(Kristin), Jennifer Lynn Crawford, Zach Crawford(Yvonne) and Josh Crawford. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Alex, Aubry, Ashlyn, Addison, Alain, Lillian, Harmony and Caitlin Crawford, Kyle Marett, Destiny Coker, and Serenity Austin. Her Sisters in law Nancy Diggans and Martha Crawford and her Brother in Law Dave Crawford as well as several Nieces and Nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her Parents William Diggans Sr. and Irma Diggans,  her Husband, Ronald Crawford Sr., her sons Ben and Jeremy Crawford, her sister Sheryl Ferro and brother William Diggans Jr.

Pat was a Nurse and dedicated over 40 years of her life to nurturing and caring for children at the Children's Hospital Pittsburgh, retiring in 2006. Over the years, she touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark of gentle kindness.

She had a great love for music, her favorite Group being Chicago. An ardent Football fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and a passion for Basketball. She enjoyed spending her leisure time reading, crocheting, and most importantly, spending time with her precious grandchildren. Her greatest accomplishments, her children and grandchildren, were a source of immense pride and joy.

Pat's legacy will perpetually live on through her devoted children, cherished grandchildren, and the multitude of children she cared for in her nursing career. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and anyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her life was a testament to selfless service, unconditional love, and unwavering compassion.

The Family will hold a private  celebration of her life at a later time.
