Irlanda Berti Gendron born November 13, 1950 in Maracaibo, Venezuela - March 15, 2024.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irlanda Gendron, who departed this world on March 15th. Born on November 13, 1950, Irlanda's life was a testament to love, compassion, and the wonders of raising a family.
Irlanda is survived by her devoted husband, Christian, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories and created a beautiful family with. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter.
A woman of love and kindness, Irlanda touched the lives of those around her with her warm spirit and compassionate nature. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of friends and family alike.
Irlanda's journey through life was marked by a deep commitment to family. She is survived by her sons: Alex, Oliver, and Patrick, who will forever carry the lessons of love and compassion she instilled in them. She loved her daughters-in-law, Michele and Jaclyn, as they were her own daughters, and was incredibly happy when they joined the family.
The joy of Irlanda's life was amplified by her beloved grandchildren: Julianna, Leo, and Isabella, who always brought a big, warm smile to her face. Certainly, their abuela's love will continue to resonate throughout the generations.
Irlanda also leaves behind her long time friend Alicia, whose friendship enriched her life in immeasurable ways. In memory of her brother Elbano Berti, who preceded her in death. Irlanda's family continues to hold him close in their hearts as well as his wife, children, and grandchildren.
In addition to her family and friends, Irlanda had a deep passion for music that brought joy to her life and those around her. Her gentle voice and profound lyrics won her multiple awards and spread her symphony far and wide. She was an artist all around. If she wasn’t making music she was putting her heart into her cooking, paintings, gardening and terrariums.
As we remember Irlanda, let us celebrate a life well-lived and honor the impact she had on each of us. May the memories of her laughter, kindness, and love bring comfort during this difficult time.
A memorial service to celebrate Irlanda's life will be held on Saturday, April 13th at Lowdermilk Park in Naples, FL from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
