I met Irlanda through a common friend. From the beginning we had this wonderful connection for music and the arts.
Even though we were separated for a couple of years when we re-united our friendship was even stronger and powerful.
She shared with me very poem, every song, every recognition to her wonderful job. Some of her compositions were inspired by personal experience, she knew a lot of me.
Every time she had a new recipe she called me to come and taste it, I always admire her wonderful skills in the kitchen.
I miss Irlanda a lot, she was gone in so short time. I can't believe she is not here any. I won't fine any other confident like her.

Irlanda, will always be remembered for her love and support for her family and friends. Irlanda was a very special and wonderful person. She loved her grandchildren very much and they brought her so much happiness and joy.

Dear Gendron family.
I was saddened to hear of Irlanda's passing. To add to what my daughter Stephanie wrote. I will always treasure her contagious smile, her passion for everything she did and her welcoming heart. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I’m so sorry to hear about Irlanda’s passing. I will never forget how wonderful and welcoming Irlanda (and the whole family) was when my family first moved to Naples. I was amazed by her incredible talent in all the art forms she enjoyed and loved.
