It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Iris Stroman on September 2, 2023. Born on May 24, 1964, she was an enduring beacon of love and light in the lives of all who knew her.

With a persona that could only be described as supportive, bubbly, kind, and funny, Iris lived a life filled with joy and love. A warm soul, she was always there to listen, to laugh, and to lend a helping hand. Her life was characterized by her unwavering kindness and the positive impact she made on others. She was loved by many and her absence will be deeply felt.

Iris leaves behind her beloved husband Derrick Stroman, and their son, Darius Stroman. She also leaves behind her sisters, Joyce Davis, Shirley Lewis, Carol Lewis and Carolyn Swint, and her brother, Raymond Chinn, all of whom will dearly miss her. She was predeceased by her mother, Laura Lewis and father, Ira Williams. Iris's warmth, her radiant smile, and her wonderful sense of humor will forever remain in our hearts.

A woman of elegance and grace, Iris Stroman imprinted her love and joy for life onto everyone she met. Her passing leaves a void that will be hard to fill, yet her legacy continues to inspire all those she left behind. We remember Iris not just as we last saw her, but as she lived: full of life, full of love, and full of laughter.
