Iris Lelia Martin (born Iris Lelia Solomon) was born March 23, 1948 in New York. Her parents were Ira & Betty Solomon. She was the oldest of 5 siblings: Ira Solomon III, Sharon Solomon (Washington) Teresa Solomon and Russell Solomon.

Iris met Robert (Bob) Martin in 1963: fell in love. On April 30, 1972 Bob and Iris got married in Los Angeles, California. They were married for 48 years and raised four beautiful daughters: Raquel, …
