I have so many story and great memories about Mommy Irene🙏🏽

One of my favorite was when she invited me to joined her to accept her award from DMC hospital. I wasn’t prepared, no dress to wore…but when she came and pick me up, she went through my closet & said, “this dress will be perfect for you”. And, yes, I wore the dress that she chose for me and when we took picture together, we did look great! And, what touched me was when she said, “you’re my special guest tonight”❤️ She always made me feel special when I was with her. She was very humble and I remember that I told her that she’s the most humble person I’ve ever met. Since the first day we met, we were inseparable. We’ve been everywhere, from East to West, to South, to North of Michigan.

Another story that I never forget was, when she was working at Heritage hospital, I used to cook and asked her to take her break at my house..even too late at night, she showed up, ate and said…”ok Mar, gonna be hit & run”. hehehe There were times, that I went to her work and joined her with her break, we drove to McDonald and ate there then she went back to work and I went back home👌🏽

I remember, she took me to a party where they were all Nurses and Doctors, and I wasn’t a nurse or a doctor…I was new here in the U.S & didn’t have any job yet. And, when the people in our table asked me if I was a nurse and I said No…I felt kind a intimidated, and Mommy Irene was very protective and she didn’t want me to feel awkward around those people so she asked me to moved to different table. She said, “C’mon Mar, let’s go to the other table, these people here are “mayabang” hehehehe…Mommy Irene was very kind & treated everyone fairly and with respect.

There were more stories to tell. For almost 24 years of friendship, we had so many great stories and memories to cherished. We had fun memories when nothing but just laughters, there were crazy ones too especially when we went to Las Vegas to see the Celine Dion concert and when we went to Seattle to visit my cousin. Those were the funniest and memorable moments together🤗

I love you so much, Mommy Irene🙏🏽

Rest in peace🙏🏽

It was Julianne’s wedding in 1014, and we rented a kettle house in the prairie and of course Irene was with us. we stayed there for 3 days and in those three days we had the most fun . irene kept of telling us jokes from morning till evening in between rehearsal and wedding. All my kids love their Tita Irene. We had so much fun way back in Michigan with my kids, the Pfleiders and the Anascos. We were family. We did everything together from the park to cedarpointe to apple picking to canada and even just a backyard barbecue until almost everybody moved to different states. contacts never ends.
