With deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Irene Small on January 7, 2024. Born on September 27, 1941, Irene lived a vibrant and fulfilling life surrounded by her loved ones.

She leaves behind her cherished daughter Davene Lee, beloved son Geoffrey Small, and dear son-in-law Maxwell Lee. Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband, David George Small, whose memory she held close to her heart.

Following a successful professional journey, Irene retired in 2006, dedicating her remaining years to the simple pleasures of life. She was a connoisseur of food, with particular fondness for fish and chips, and anything Chinese. Irene had a taste for Tab! and her soul danced to the rhythms of Fleetwood Mac, Elvis Presley, Dusty Springfield, and Shannon.

An avid fan of the New England Patriots, Irene also loved watching Law and Order SVU. Her joys were simple and profound; she loved singing karaoke, dancing, and being with her children. Irene's favorite vacation spots were cruising to Bermuda or visiting her home country, England. Locally, she cherished moments spent at Ray's New Garden.

Irene was a woman of vivacious spirit, described by many as outgoing, friendly, and the life of the party. She reminded everyone to 'live life to the fullest, as you never know when it's going to end'. Her greatest accomplishment, undoubtedly, were her two children whom she raised with unlimited love and care.

In the radiance of her favourite colour, blue, we remember Irene for her love of life, her infectious laughter, and her deep love for her family. She will be profoundly missed.
