It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Lilley. Born on April 4, 1929, Irene graced this world with her gentle spirit for 95 long and fruitful years before her peaceful departure on May 24, 2024.
A paragon of love, kindness, and compassion, Irene's warmth was as perpetual as the sun. Her heart was an open door, always welcoming those in need. With these qualities, she touched countless lives and managed to leave a resounding echo of warmth even in her absence.
Irene left her beloved husband, Jack Lilley. Together, they carved out a life filled with joy, laughter, and an abundance of mutual respect. Their bond was a testament to a lifelong promise of love and devotion. The absence of Irene was deeply felt by Jack.
Irene leaves behind her two cherished sons, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Generations apart but interconnected by the unbreakable bond of family. Her table and wood stove was always ready for family and friends, hot coffee and some sweets were there for the taking.... dinner on the table!
Among Irene's notable accomplishments was being the wife of Jack Lilley. It was a role she embraced with utmost joy. Residing on the ranch, Irene will also be missed by her flock of chickens. Each morning, she would greet them with her graceful smile, signifying the beginning of another day in their harmonious existence. To Irene, they were not just chickens, but family members, each with their unique personality and charm.
Irene may have departed from this physical world, but her legacy of love and kindness will resonate forever. Her memory will continue to inspire her family, the friends she made along the way, and even her little flock of doves and chickens, who await their morning greet that will echo in silence.
