Ira Stanley Warheit died on Monday, January 6, 2025 surrounded by his two loving children at The Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Northern Dallas.
Ira was born on January 5, 1944 in Coney Island Brooklyn to parents Mina nee Cohen and Henry Warheit. After moving from Coney Island, he grew up in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Among the many sports that Ira played, some of his fondest memories were from playing football at Brooklyn Technical High School. …
