Penni and I met in 2020 and ever since she had been a blessing in my life. I totally loved her southern accent and the way she had a optimistic way of looking at life. She was my confidant and a true friend. I wish I had a chance to spend more time with her as we had planned to this year. I miss you soo much Penni and I love you. Thank you for your sweet- kind spirit and it was a pleasure getting to know you and having you as a friend. Big hugs to you up in heaven. Rest in Heaven.

Penni was a great childhood friend. We cheered together in HS and both participated in the Kiwanis Key Club. We did managed to stay in contact throughout our adulthood . I remember her visit to NY; when we stayed in the city with her friend and my cousin. We had a great time. Every time we would talk it would be about life and our kids. It saddens me to hear about her death. My family and I extend our deepest condolences to her two boys and her family. May she Rest in peace.

I am shocked and saddened to learn about Penni. I will always remember her quirky personality, style, and infectious laugh. She was truly unique. Penni was one of the first Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta I ever knew, when she was a student at Marshall University. RIP dear soror. My thoughts and prayers go out to her two sons and her entire family.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Penni. I met her at Ebony Women, a woman’s group in North Hills PA. My Daughter Dionne would babysit her two sons. She was a lovely young lady.

I want to offer my condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Penni Padgett. Penni lived life by her own rules and that is what made her the woman she was. I will forever remember Penni because she was the Dean of Pledges when I pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. I will always love my Soror 🔺🧡!!! Prayers for comfort are also being sent now and in the days that follow.
