I had the pleasure of working with Dr Alam in the past. Even though it was a relatively short time period, it was enough to get to know Imtiaz as a very kind and caring person. I am shocked and saddened to hear this news. He will surely be missed and remembered by his patients.

I have just learned of Imtiaz Alam’s death.  I am stricken with the news and heartbroken. 

Dr. Alam,

No other doctor was quite amazing as you in the field of gastrology and hemotalogy. Thank you for saving my life, for your wonderful bedside manner and all the love you showed to your patients.  I will surely miss you. 

I had the honor of managing the practice Dr. Alam worked with in Lubbock, Texas.  He was one of the most inspirational people I ever known.  May God give peace to hos family during this difficult time.

Dr. Alam worked with the company I'm with, Jackson & Coker, from time to time as a locums physician (for those that are unfamiliar with what this is - it's a traveling physician). He was LOVED by every single hospital that he worked within; The staff were always so quick to inform us of how kind he was and how refreshing he was to work with. He was also so incredibly kind to my colleagues, and was just a genuinely good person that we valued and cared for deeply. He was in the right field as a physician, his passion for patient care and saving lives was evident in all that he did. May Dr. Alam rest in peace. The world is a better place because of him!

Imtiaz was an extraordinary person and physician. I had the privilege of working with him. I am deeply saddened by his sudden passing . May he rest in peace. My condolences to his wife and family.
