I have a million memories running through my mind. The ones that immediately come to mind are your visits to my house in Abuja and my visits to your office in Abuja. I'm glad we spent a lot of time together.  I spoke to you the night before you passed. We talked and smiled and I waved you goodbye at the end of the call..... I didn't know that goodbye was the last time I'll see you in this life.

Well I'm glad you're in a better place but I miss you like crazy in this realm! Rest in power my dear brother, I love you forever 💗

My brother was laid to rest on 30/12/23. It was the most realistic scary movie ever. Aikay, I saw you lay there in white, quietly, peacefully, it looked like you were sleeping except you weren't snoring 😅. Losing you is the hardest experience ever. It is cruel, it is painful and the worst part is, it is final, no do-overs. Someone told me to pick 2 striking qualities about you, imbibe them into my life as your legacy. You were a People-lover, so maybe I'll work on that. I hope I make you proud.

Remember when I used to cut and file your finger nails? Remember when u let me plait tomotoes on your hair and you went out with that hairdo🤦🤭. I wish we had more time to create more memories.

I love you Bro. When you died, a little part of us died, but as we live on, a little part of you lives on in all of us..

Always and forever in our hearts.

Your baby sis.

You were the first person I shared my intentions of marrying your sister with. You accepted me without question and set the tone for everything else.  Though we are almost the same age but you were like a big brother to me.  You were always ahead in the different milestones men must go through: job, marriage, children, role model, and finally death. I’ve learnt from your bravery, your experiences, and the laughter and challenges we shared. Life threw its weight at you from all corners and you chested them like a champ until the end. Rest well my brother.  Na man you be.
You truly fought a good fight. By God's grace, the crown of salvation is yours.
Adieu Von Iyke,  I will greatly miss you.  Izu

The God of all peace give us peace 🙏 on this challenge that came on the family. My cousin Ike God as I call. We your family did not see this coming but in all we allow God to be Lord of all. My dear you have faught the good fight of faith, and there is a reward from God that is enternal life, which only God can give. In this life is not how long we live but how well. You have touched lifes in your level and the rest is for those that are still running. Ike you are a lovable person, respectful and humble. REST ON IN THE LORD, THAT IS THE GREATEST REWARD.

Waoh! This is the most shocking news I received lately. We spoke and have kept in touch recently, we even shared our spiritual beliefs and spoke of God's grace and faithfulness. One comfort I have is that you lived God and believed in Jesus Christ. You fought the good fight of faith and held on to God's word.  Rest on in glory in God's kingdom. Adieu Ikenna.

This is a big shock to me.  I just realized it's the reason why I haven't been seeing your status update.

Mr Von, I pray that your soul finds rest in the bossom of your Creator. AMEN🙏🏽🙏

I pray that God will give the family the fortitude to bear the loss in Jesus Name, Amen

Iky my brother am still in shock of the news of your demise,I never knew that call we made two weeks ago will be the last I will hear your voice 🙏 rest on my brother.

I was shock to my bone when I saw your sudden demise on the wall of your sister Chi, quickly I had to put a call across to be sure of it, and I got the shocker of my life. I could remember when I spoke with you and you told me you will be back fully well and ok. Ikegod as I usually call you, my beloved brother and friend, our days back then in U/Rimi with your other siblings was a great memory that will never leave me, you came, saw and you for sure conquered. The life you spend here on earth was so unique that it touches everyone around you, though it was short but we can't question our Maker, for him alone knows the best and at his own time and making he does what he wishes is the best. I know your family Dad, mum, and siblings plus friends including me will have question the almighty but who are we to know his plans for us and our end how it will become. Ride on this great Victory path that you have embarked on, till we meet that resurrection morning where we shall never part again. May perpetual light shine upon your path as you go on this journey. Words will fail me but is well. Rest on my beloved brother. We shall really miss you greatly.

My heartfelt condolences on the passing of our dear childhood friend. His presence in our lifes brought joy and cherished memories. Losing someone who shared not just your childhood but also the journey through life such as your senior brother is incredibly hard. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. May you find solace in the beautiful memories you shared. In Jesus name. Wishing the comfort during this difficult time.

Mr Ikenna my in-law.... I could vividly remembered when you visit me in makurdi with your lovely sister, I call her madam Gyoh. A lady with a good heart.

We went out to take cool breeze around makurdi town together with your lovely sister, I never forgot your smiles at any giving time. The good moment we had together was never a thing I will forget in a hurry.

You went back to Abuja the follow day, I called,we talked and you promised to visit me again. I am still waiting for your visit again, till death took you away from us.

Your death came to me a chock , still not recover in a hurry...I'm grieved, I felt powerless right now, I felt the world is falling on me right now.

I know you are resting on the bosom of the Lord. But do me one thing, Ikenna do me one thing, tell the angels that you first come,we will meet you later.

I miss you,

We miss you,

And we continue to miss you till we meet again in heaven.

Lord your son is coming, let him in and give him the part you promised to give those who hear your words and do accordingly. Rest in peace my brother Ikenna!

My brother in-law Ikenna, anytime I meet you,in your charismatic manner, you would ask me;Have you spoken to my sister?......My usual reply was, it's not a question because I always talk to her and an enterprising smile will lighten our discussion..... Today you are no more but God knows why and hence it's my prayers that you rest with the Lord until  we live together in eternity...... Rest in peace brotherly.......
