Ate with Luis
Hola Ate, vamos casas arriba? Esperanos ahi, Ate, y pronto nos encontraremos. Mientras tanto, gracias por el amor y carino de toda una vida. Te extrano mucho, Gessi 💕
Ahhhh the amazing Ate. He was always stylish with his suits and writing hand written letters. I always remember his study being a mysterious place with that type writer where you would do what he liked to do at his desk. Then he’d take a walk to the post office I think. Oh ya and when he would watch the soap operas and say ESOOOO! And get really excited. Such a genuine guy who always wanted to joke around. Miss you Ate. Rest in piece and thank you for always being in my life!

Humbertico, like we loved to call Him, was always kind and loving , a hard working gentleman, He used to light up people’s life’s with his funny jokes!!! 💗
I have so many memories of being at Mamu and Ate’s house as a kid. One memory that stands out is Ate sitting at the dining table, patiently and contently working through boiled chicken bone to get to the marrow. Watching him methodically extract every last bit taught me about the value of getting the most out of life and taught me how to be a little less “white” when I eat chicken. (For both lessons I am so grateful, thank you Ate!). I also remember him often either arriving from or preparing to go to town, dressed in his signature (and so dapper) twill suits with matching hats. I always admired his presentation. Such style and confidence opened my eyes to the power of a well fitting suit. Look sharp, feel sharp. Whatever meager style I do have almost certainly came from you Ate. RIP, you will be missed, and may your legacy live on through you’re amazing family. - Humphrey (grandson)
