Humberto Castro-Gutierrez, 56, of Indio, CA, unexpectedly passed away on October 14, 2023.

A viewing will be held at Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church on Sun Oct 29 from 4-10 pm. 45501 Deglet Noor St, Indio, CA 92201

Church Service will be held Mon October 30 at Potters House Christian Fellowship Church (45300 Oasis St, Indio, CA 92201) at 10am followed by the burial at the Coachella Valley Public Cemetery. (82925 52nd Ave, Coachella, CA 92236) 

Humberto was born on May 18 1967 to Humberto & Camila Castro in Sinaloa De Leyva Sin, He moved to the United States in 1985.

In 1988, he met Gabriela Peña, and they wed in 2005, going on to have 4 children, Humberto, Janelle, Daniel, & Cassandra. He owned and operated his own trucking business for 20 years that he took great pride in.  He is survived by his parents Humberto & Camila Castro, wife Gabriela Castro, Children Humberto, Janelle, Daniel and Cassandra 

He was a son, a husband, a brother, a grand father, but his favorite role was not just being a father but also being a father figure for many other's. He loved nothing more than helping out others pursue there dreams and was always there for them. He left this world too soon and will truly be missed by all.
