Hoyt Herman Scott was lent to this world on December 7th, 1930 to parents Fred Nathaniel and Ruby Mae Dawson Scott in Bridgeport Alabama. He spent his adult life serving his country and his community in the United States Air Force, Army National Guard and the Hixson fire department where he served as both Fire Chief and dispatcher.
