It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Howell Hall, a revered father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on November 3, 2023. Born on February 3, 1940, Howell lived a life rich in love, laughter, and lessons that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Howell was a pillar of strength for his family and exuded a kind-hearted spirit that never failed to uplift those around him. He was a beacon of light during difficult times, and his wisdom and gentle guidance will be sorely missed. Howell was predeceased by his loving wife, Mott Hall whose memory continued to be a source of inspiration for him.

He leaves behind a loving family, all of whom cherished every moment spent with him. Surviving him are his devoted sons, Randall Hall and Matthew Hall. His daughters-in-law, Bethany and Tamela Hall, who have always adored and respected him. And, his beloved grandchildren, Heather and Cameron Hall. Each one deeply mourned the loss of this remarkable man, as they fondly remembered the countless moments of joy, happiness, and wisdom that they shared with him.

A celebration of Howell's life will be held on November 8, 2023, at 2:30 PM in Bryson City. His spirit, imbued with love and generosity, continues to live on through his family and friends.

The loss of Howell Hall is profoundly felt by all who knew him. His journey on earth may have reached its sunset, but his legacy of love, respect, integrity, and kindness rises as an eternal sunrise in the hearts of those who loved him.
