Eddie's obituary

Howard “Eddie” Johnson, Sr. was born on August 22, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio to his parents, William C. Johnson, Sr. and Dollie Mae Stanley Johnson. He was the second of three children born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brother, William, Jr. and his sister, Debora. On February 10, 1983, Eddie wed Mildred Johnson. To this union, LaKisha, Howard, Jr., Jamal and Cheri were born. This marriage was later dissolved. On April 23, 2009, Eddie united in holy matrimony to the former Danielle LeShawna Williams. They first met in Denver, Colorado. To this union, one daughter, Shyla was born, she was the apple of her father's eye. The family shared many happy and precious moments together. On October 21, 2011, Eddie and Danielle renewed their vows. All the children remember their father's laugh and his humorous personality. Eddie was later blessed to have seventeen grandchildren, who were additional source of joy and pride in his life. They fondly remember all the happy and memorable moments they all shared together. By profession, Eddie was employed by ProPak Logistics as a supply Chain Manager. Eddie was a fun loving man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the movies, watching his favorite television programs and spending quality time with his family. He will missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this wonderful man, who had a cheerful personality, was extremely giving and had a "young swagger." To know Eddie was to love him. Eddie departed this life on September 8, 2023, in Aurora, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss including his wife, Danielle; four sons, Michael (Tykeya), Edward, Jamal (Alyssa) and Howard "EJ"; three daughters, LaTamara, LaKisha (Carl), Cheri (Lonnie) and Shyla; two step daughters, Monica and Tasha; his mother, Dollie; one brother, William; one sister, Debora (Tony); 17 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
