Oh Howard I am missing you!  I'll treasure the meals we shared and the long talks we had about the industry and of the time we went to see Billy Graham do his last crusade.  I remember you saying you wanted to go down there and have them pray for you.  You are with God, Howard, and I will see you there in the future.  Much love, Yoly
I’m going to miss Howard he was a good friend for over 50 years always kind always supportive always  a good listener  and always a character. I remember years ago you came to my home for dinner with  5 close Chinese friends and it turned out we were all different religions protestantCatholic Buddhist Muslim And Howard The agnostic…. It was a great evening and we did not  discuss  religion. He will always be with us
Howard was one of my very favorite people in LA. He was always kind, helpful and compassionate, ready to help with an audition, share a ride to set or set up networking meetings just because he could and he loved to make other people happy. It can feel quite hard to find selfless idealists in showbiz, however, Howard broke all the negative stereotypes. He was witty and talented and he sure did love napping . Howard cast me in my first stage performance years ago, when I first moved to the West Coast, fighting for me even over concerns I didn't have enough experience and we sure showed them! I will never forget the time he drove out to have dinner with me and a bunch of producers and we had this wonderful time during which Howard regaled us with fabulous stories. After dinner, we all went outside and Howard suddenly piped up with, "Huh. I forgot where I parked." Me, Howard and two producers spent the next 45 minutes wandering the streets of Santa Monica, pressing his car key fob outside every garage and hoping to hear a responding honk. We finally found the car! We lost Howard way too soon and I miss him very much. I am so lucky to have had him as a friend.

Howard was a very kind and thoughtful man.   He always had a good story to tell and took a real interest in those around him and what they were up to.  He is missed.
