Horace Sewell, 96, born April 7, 1926, departed this life on October 31, 2022.
Born in Lexington South Carolina, Horace was the 6th of 14 born to Joseph and Annie Belle Sewell. In 1942, he left Lexington for New York City. Shortly thereafter, he was drafted in the United States Army and served in World War II. His assignments took him to Morocco, North Africa, Marseille, France, and Düsseldorf, Germany, and Manila Philippines. While in …
