Horace, an avid golfer, a.k.a. "Papa/Dad, Lolo/Grandpa, Daddy Boy, Uncle, Manong, Honey, or simply Boy", died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at his home in Rio Vista, CA., at age 81. Horace worked hard, lived his life to the fullest and before his death, surrendered his life to his Savior, Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Heidi Sarmiento (Spanky, Barbie, & John Paul), daughters Sheila (John Sr., John Jr, Emmalyne, Garrick) Dugan and Emily Diamonon; brother, Carlos (Catalina) Diamonon, sisters Norma Alves, Erlinda Santos, Cora (Ricardo) Pineda, Amy (Nilo) Arcilla, Bella (Mario) Santos and Maxine Hogan; nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Visitation and service will be held at Diablo Valley Funeral Home, 1390 Monument Blvd, Concord, CA 94520 Ph 925-682-1100.
