During the time I worked in Amex, I was lucky to know Edmond at lunch time in our cafeteria. Since then we always have lunch together and the group became bigger and bigger. Edmond was warm and funny. I vented with him about all the stress and frustration at work. He always listened and comforted me. Lunch time became relaxing and rejuvenated. Everyday I looked forward for that time to connecting with Edmond and our AMEX friends. He loved singing, going to cruises and always showed off his 愛心 飯盒created by his beloved wife Carmen. My dear friend, You have now moved on to the next world. I feel sad but I will always remember you and your sense of humour. Hope you remember me too when we meet in the next world. Sincerely, Loletta
Our childhood memories of 八叔 are his bright smiles, good temper and amiable nature. We will always cherish the times we had with 八叔, like our frequent family gatherings and fun outings. We are sorry that we didn’t visit him and his family more often in Toronto. We will miss you, dear 八叔, Rest In Peace. Please take care, 八嬸, George and family. Winifred, William and Vivian Ho
Edmond was one of the first friends I knew since coming to Canada. We worked at Amex together. He used to say I looked angry when passing by at the hallway. Now I know I should smile more to people, thanks to his advice. We spent most lunch hours together with a bunch of friends. He would close his eyes for a rest, taking in our conversation and came up with very interesting comments at the right time, always generating a lot of laughters. Great time. We became close friends, travelling, singing. He was such a wonderful singer, pouring emotion into every note. He was also my dedicated uber to the badminton game. Edmond – you will be dearly missed, may you rest in peace! Winnie
Edmond: Thank you for sharing your songs and friendship with us. We shall keep your songs in our heart till we meet somewhere in another world, then we shall sing together again.
My deepest condolence to Carmen and the Ho family.
