Hildred Huggins-Williams (1954 - 2023)

Hildred Huggins-Williams, age 69, of Lowndesboro, Alabama, passed away on March 10, 2023. Born in 1954, Hildred grew up in Lowndesboro and graduated from Hayneville, Alabama, in 1973. A loving mother, devoted grandmother, and pillar of her community, Hildred touched the lives of many through her work and passions.

In her professional life, Hildred was a dedicated school bus driver, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community's children as they traveled to and from school each day. Ever reliable, her support and care extended beyond her role on the bus, as she took an interest in the lives of the children and their families.

Outside of work, Hildred had numerous hobbies that showcased her vibrant personality. As an avid shopper, she delighted in discovering unique treasures and staying up-to-date with the latest trends. She also had a passion for cooking and was renowned for her delicious home-cooked meals, which she generously shared with family and friends. Hildred reveled in spending quality time with her beloved grandchildren, whether it was a day in the park, telling stories, or simply relaxing at home together.

In addition to her role as a loving grandmother, Hildred was deeply involved in her church community. Her faith was central to her life, and she attended services regularly, often inspiring others with her powerful testimony and steadfast belief.

Hildred's personality was a dynamic blend of strength, honesty, boldness, and love. She was never afraid to speak her mind, and her unwavering determination was a source of inspiration to many. At the same time, her loving nature and capacity for compassion made her a supportive friend, caring mother, and devoted grandmother.

Hildred is survived by her daughter, Lakisha Huggins. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will be remembered by all who knew her.
