Hilda Mae (Berwick, formally Wetherbee) Wiggin, 82, passed away surrounded by family on January 17th, 2025 in Peterborough, NH.

Hilda was born on July 27, 1942 to Bert and Mary (Whitney) Berwick in Amherst, NH where she lived through 1960 when she graduated from Milford High School. Afterwards onto New York City, Jaffrey, Harrisville and Antrim, NH. Hilda owned her own Real Estate Agency, H.M. Wetherbee Real Estate, for 26 years where she impacted many lives in the Southern New Hampshire area. 

She was proud to call Peterborough, NH her home for the past 25 years. She married Thomas Wiggin in 1994 and they spent 30 wonderful years of marriage together before his passing in October 2023. She was happiest spending time with Tom, her granddaughters, and maintaining her beautiful gardens. She was passionate about genealogy and spent many hours uncovering history and lost stories of her ancestors. 

In addition to her parents, Hilda was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Berwick and her sister, Leona (Berwick) Goodwin. 

Hilda is survived by her son, Caleb Wetherbee; daughter Sandra Assimotos McElwee; granddaughters, Sophia and Anna Wetherbee; grandson Sean McElwee; stepdaughter, Sarah (Wiggin) Banville; brother, Andy Berwick; niece, Nadine (Goodwin) Hughes.
